Chelsea Butera, MA, CCC-SLP

Chelsea is the owner and managing provider of AAC Collective Therapies and an experienced speech-language pathologist and AAC specialist. With a passion for supporting individuals with complex communication needs, she brings a personalized, client-centered approach to working with communicators across the lifespan and with a wide range of abilities and support needs.

Chelsea is passionate about helping individuals find communication solutions that fit who they are, how they access their environment, and what matters most to them. She believes that effective AAC support goes beyond selecting a device—it’s about creating meaningful opportunities for connection, self-expression, participation, and independence.

When she’s not working with clients and their families, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs, Ivy and Trapper. She loves being outdoors and can often be found hiking, biking, or paddle boarding.
Kayleigh is an occupational therapist whose expertise in sensory processing and motor skills brings a unique lens to AAC. As part of the evaluation team, she helps identify the most comfortable and reliable ways for each communicator to access their system, and trains families and support teams on access methods, positioning, and device mounting.
Outside of work, Kayleigh loves spending time with her husband and their three dogs. She also enjoys hiking, reading, playing guitar, and diving into new hobbies (currently sewing!).
